Marcell Ateman
I have pounded the table all offseason regarding the great opportunity that’s at the feet of Arden Key. Marcell Ateman now finds himself in a similar situation with a great opportunity in front of him. There surprisingly hasn’t been a clear cut No. 3 wide receiver for the Raiders.

Martavis Bryant was supposed to be that guy, but hasn’t been able to keep up. Ryan Switzer has had a strong offseason and is in contention, but he’s not an obvious choice yet. Someone has to step up and grab the opportunity like it’s a touchdown pass being thrown at them.
This makes Marcell Ateman a must watch for tonight’s game. Granted he won’t be going up against a starting defense, or at least not much.
It still would behoove him to have a flashy game. It’ll demonstrate that he’s ready to get into some action with the starters. Ateman could very well develop into a solid No. 3 receiver. His development would add a different dynamic to an already fully loaded offense.
