Linebacker (6): Tahir Whitehead, Derrick Johnson, Emmanuel Lamur, James Coswer, Marquel Lee, Nicholas Morrow

Marquel Lee has blossomed into a player who looks to be on the brink of stardom, and should be a monster for this defense in year two. He has passed Derrick Johnson as the starter in the middle, and will be joined by Tahir Whitehead and likely Emmanuel Lamur in the starting lineup.

James Cowser is a guy who has had a standout summer, and Gruden loves the way he plays the game. He has moved past Kyle Wilber on the depth chart in my opinion, and has done everything he has needed to do to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

Rounding out the linebacker group will be Nicholas Morrow, although the Raiders may decide to keep either of their two rookies, Jason Cabinda or Azeem Victor. Morrow will likely be the one to make the team, but the hope is the team can keep both Cabinda and Victor on the practice squad.
