There have been plenty of iconic players in the history of the Raiders franchise, and we look at a Mount Rushmore for each position group.

The Oakland Raiders franchise has a storied history, winning three Super Bowls, and producing some of the more iconic figures in professional football. From team owner Al Davis, to coach John Madden, and star Marcus Allen, the organization has place numerous immortals into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Throughout the history of the franchise, there have been many highs, but there have also been the lows. The Raiders have endured long stretches of bad play on the field, but with a renewed hope entering 2018, current head coach Jon Gruden should help the franchise bounce back from a six-win season in 2017.

The Raiders came into existence nearly 60 years ago, and have moved around from city to city. In 2020, they will make their permanent home in the desert, as the team will move to Las Vegas and move into their beautiful, brand-new stadium.

When it comes to players, the Raiders have had some of the best, and we take a look at the men who made, and make, the Silver and Black special.

Here is the Mount Rushmore for the Oakland Raiders at every position group.
