Miller is the real deal

For all the fuss made when the Raiders named rookie Kolton Miller their starting left tackle this summer, he has been all of that and more for the team early on. He absolutely held his own against a tough Denver Broncos pass rush this past Sunday, and when it comes to the offensive line, he has not looked like a weak link at all.

Heading into the 2018 NFL Draft, not many experts predicted that Miller would hear his name announced in the first round. However, he has been the best rookie tackle in the NFL this season, and even against two of the better defensive lines in the league in Los Angeles and Denver, he more than held his own against guys like Von Miller and Aaron Donald.

Donald Penn has also made a solid move to the right sides, and with the players the Raiders have on the interior of the offensive line, this unit looks like one of the best in the league. Miller has been well worth the first round price tag in his rookie season, and you have to believe he is only going to get better as the season wears on.
