Once again the Oakland Raiders faced a fourth quarter collapse and an 0-3 record to start the season was the end result. Here’s three things we learned from another loss on the season.

On the road, playing in the humidity and with tip-off in the eastern timezone, an Oakland Raiders victory over the Miami Dolphins would not be easy, but a win was necessary to generate some much-needed positivity early into the season. The Dolphins record sat at 2-0, but they had yet to play a perfect game and could be sent to 2-1 by this Oakland team, so long as the Raiders controlled the game.

In what seems to be the norm this season, Oakland managed to play the right way for the first three-quarters and then come the fourth, they fell apart to let the Dolphins blow the game wide open.

The Derek CarrJordy Nelson connection showed up in the first quarter, capping off the first drive of the game with a touchdown, and Marshawn Lynch channeled beast mode to find the end zone and give Oakland a ten point lead late into the third. But a quick response by Miami brought them back within striking distance, and with some trickery from their playbook aided by a costly Derek Carr interception in the end zone, the Dolphins sealed the come back win.

Another fourth quarter collapse, another loss to bring the Silver and Black to 0-3 on the season. Here are three things we learned from Sunday’s end result.
