Any Safety
The safety position group was a big question mark headed into the 2018 season, and they have more than answered those questions through the first three games of the season. The group is playing at a very low level right now, and according to Pro Football Focus, Karl Joseph, Reggie Nelson, and Marcus Gilchrist all had a rating below 60 against the Miami Dolphins.
Sure, Joseph played only one play, but the rest of the group had more than enough opportunities to make plays against a Dolphins offense that showed big-play ability in the second half. Guys failed to get back in coverage, and Ryan Tannehill was able to do whatever he wanted every time he dropped back to pass.
Erik Harris is looking like the only Raiders safety who wants to do the dirty work, but the team only allowed him to play 17 defensive snaps on Sunday. I understand that the Raiders are getting no pass rush, and that puts a lot of pressure on the secondary, but come on, someone has to step up and lead this unit moving forward.
