Mo Hurst Came to Play

When the Raiders drafted Mo Hurst, they knew they were getting a first round talent in the fifth round. Well, his talent was on full display against the Browns as he made one of the biggest play of the game.

In the previous slide, I mentioned the two fumbles the Raiders caused, well it was Hurst who forced the first one. It was a strip sack that came when the Raiders were trailing 28-14 and were in desperate need of a difference-making play.

Hurst finished the game with a 90.5 Pro Football Focus grade which was easily his highest of the season thus far. He made an impact not only in the passing game but also made some nice plays against the run which is usually where he struggles.

I was big on Hurst coming out of the draft, so it was nice to see him ball out. And on a day where the defense was overall pretty bad, he made a ton of plays.
