Raiders Finishing a Game

I’ve heard a lot of people say that the Raiders really should have two more wins than they actually have. Believing that the Broncos & Dolphins games were given away by Oakland.

However, I don’t buy into that way of thinking, in the immortal words of Bill Parcells “you are what your record says you are.” The Raiders lost those games because they weren’t good enough to finish. But on Sunday they grew as a team and found a way to close the game by any means necessary.

The team desperately needed this game not only to avoid going 0-4 but to also bring some confidence to the locker room.

Nothing is going to come easy this season given the overall talent of the roster so the Raiders may continue to find themselves in close games. And now they know they’re capable of winning one.
