Reggie Nelson

Reggie Nelson is getting a ton of playing time this season for the Raiders, and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther has stuck by his side when asked questions from the media. Unfortunately for Raiders fans, Nelson is not a starter in the NFL any longer, and he is a liability at any time to give up the big play.

While he did have an interception on Sunday, he basically gifted the Cleveland Browns a touchdown by Darren Fells, and anytime the ball goes his way, Raider Nation has to put their hand over their eyes. Nelson did have his best game of the season according to Pro Football Focus, but he needs to be better if the Raiders are going to escape Los Angeles with a win.

Oakland did work Erik Harris in more this past weekend, as Nelson saw only 54 snaps out of the 82 for the game. It appears the Raiders are going to continue to put Nelson out there, and you have to think Rivers is excited about that heading into Week 5.
