The pass rush is non-existent

The Raiders came into the Week 5 matchup with the Chargers with rookies at the tackle positions, putting them in a disadvantage in the pass rush. On the flip side, the Chargers went into the game with both of their starting tackles listed as inactive, so you figured that the Raiders would at least be able to finally get some pressure on Sunday.

Unfortunately, outside of an early sack by Bruce Irvin, this Raiders defensive front did very little to disrupt Philip Rivers and what he was trying to do with the football. The Raiders have been allowing yards in bunches this season, as well as big plays, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that they cannot get any kind of pressure up front.

Arden Key has shown flashes that he is going to be good, but he is not there yet. The big guys in the middle were pushed around by the Chargers offensive line, which has a reputation of being one of the worst in football. If they don’t get pressure on Sunday against Seattle, Russell Wilson is going to have a field day.
