Seattle Seahawks at Oakland Raiders

The Raiders return “home” to face the Seattle Seahawks. Well… that’s what the schedule says at least. The game is going to be in London. That’ll be the first time that the Raiders will be in London since Derek Carr’s rookie year.

The sad thing is that the Raiders performance from their previous London trip will likely be replicated. It’s just hard to see this team being able to not only get back on track, but to be able to up their speed on that track. The Seahawks are sure to be smelling blood in the water.

The Raiders look vulnerable right now after playing their worst game of the season. Meanwhile, the Seahawks arguably played their best game of the season in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. They actually almost knocked off the Rams, which would’ve been extremely impressive.

The Seahawks started out the first two weeks of the season rather poor. However, the last three weeks they’ve finally been able to mesh, which is the complete opposite of the Raiders. Even though the Raiders have displayed a lot of poor tendencies, I believe they will get back on track this Sunday.

That doesn’t mean they’ll win. I just don’t think their absent performance against the Chargers will be replicated. With that said, I fully expect Russel Wilson to light up the Raiders defense. A minimum of 350 yards passing is very well within reach.

Can Jon Gruden formulate a game plan to fully utilize this offense’s talents? It’s actually quite possible. Former Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr holds the same position with the Seahawks.

They should be able to produce good numbers. If they don’t, it’ll just fuel this team’s embarrassment. There’s too many things that need to go right for the Raiders in order to win. Because of that, the Seahawks should have no issues in winning this game.
