Russell Wilson is vulnerable

Russell Wilson has been sacked 18 times this season, good for second-most of all quarterbacks. There’s a simple explanation for that: the Seattle offensive line is suspect, and that spells good things for this Raiders pass rush.

After a breakout performance two weeks ago in their lone win, Maurice Hurst was humbled last week in Los Angeles. Bruce Irvin managed just one sack on Philip Rivers, and Arden Key has not gotten his inaugural sack of the season. Those three should benefit from the matchup on Sunday with a chance to really pressure Wilson all game.

What has really hounded the Raiders defensive momentum is the big plays. While some are the result of excellent play design, some are the result of giving the quarterback too much time to work in the pocket, allowing the receivers to adjust and make the play for a huge gain. Oakland can countermeasure by pressuring Russell Wilson on Sunday.
