Arden Key

One of the few defensive players that looked like they deserved to be there on Sunday was rookie defensive end Arden Key. Despite not finding the stat sheet much in the first five weeks, Key kept his nose to the grind stone and continued to work on his craft. While it is still early in his career, Key is showing that he has what it takes to succeed in the NFL.

The rookie played the more snaps than any other defensive linemen with 47, which was 74% of the total defensive snaps.

He made the most of his opportunity as well. Key recorded the first sack of his career with a nice play where he didn’t give up and chased Russel Wilson down from behind. He also had two quarterback hits and a tackle for loss.

If Key can continue that kind of production, the Raiders might have their edge rusher of the future.
