Gareon Conley

For the second straight week Gareon Conley saw a decrease in his snap count. This week however, he hit rock-bottom and didn’t even get a defensive snap. The “rookie” appears to be getting benched after giving up multiple big plays in the first few weeks. His replacement, Daryl Worley, hasn’t been that much better in coverage.

It is quite perplexing that the future at the cornerback position is being benched in favor of guys like Rodgers-Cromartie and Hall. Worley getting time makes sense as he is the same age as Conley, but the whole situation is mind-boggling.

Conley is only going to improve by getting meaningful snaps, why not give them to him?
