The Oakland Raiders put on a performance to forget as they were nearly shut-out by the Seattle Seahawks, and here’s five takeaways from their fifth loss of the season.

After coming out of the gate with a few close games, some of which were winnable, the Oakland Raiders have managed to put on back-to-back atrocious performances, and Sunday’s 27-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks their worst of the season by far. From start to finish the Raiders were outmatched and it seemed like the offense and defense missed out on making the trip to London.

Despite looking to get the run game going, it was instead the Raiders defense on their heels being unable to contain the rushing game of Seattle. Derek Carr was under duress all game long, with confidence in being able to move the ball, and it seemed as if the defense lacked the capability to ever challenge the offensive game plan of the Seahawks.

At 1-5 on the season the Raiders are arguably one of if not the worst team in the NFL right now. Making matters worse, Oakland does not travel back home with a win but instead a rolling list of injuries to the roster. The Raiders should be thankful that they have a bye week to not only get healthy but also reevaluate the direction ahead for this team and this season.

Here are five takeaways from Sunday’s 27-3 loss to the Seahawks.
