Spend big money on the linebacker position

Like any Raiders fan, I am tired of seeing the Raiders struggle so much at the linebacker position. With a bunch of cap money next summer, the Raiders need to make sure they go out and throw big bucks at the linebacker spot, whether it is in the middle, or on the outside.

There is some big-time talent that is going to be available this summer, and they already made a nice signing this past summer in Tahir Whitehead. They need to continue that trend heading into 2019, taking a shot at signing players like Jadeveon Clowney, Anthony Barr, or C.J. Moseley will go a long way in making the Raiders defense a force next season.

The Raiders brought in some very good talent along the defensive line this past offseason in guys like PJ Hall, Arden Key, and Maurice Hurst, and Whitehead was a great addition as well. Moving forward, they need linebackers who can not only actually tackle, but also cover, and we have seen what Paul Guenther can do when he has talented players to utilize in his schemes.
