Trade: Copper for a Second Round pick

Outside of T.Y. Hilton, can you name another receiver on the Indianapolis Colts?

I cannot so it would nice if they started putting a few more weapons around Andrew Luck. With Hilton struggling with injuries, Cooper could come in and really give Luck another solid option on the outside. And with both Cooper and Hilton on the field, the Colts would have some serious speed at wideout.

This also makes sense from a money standpoint as the Colts are going to have a little more than $125 million in cap space for 2019 according to spotrac.com. So if Cooper becomes a good fit, they would have no problem signing him to a new contract.

And to top it off, the Colts have an extra second-round pick after their trade with the Jets this past draft. So they would still be able to add a young piece to this roster while also getting a high upside receiver.

This situation for Oakland is similar to the one in Dallas, but with the Colts being one of the worst teams in the league that will likely be a very high second round pick. And with the way coaches think, they’ll consider it a late first rounder.

The Raiders do play the Colts on Oct. 28, which would make things a little interesting but if Indy is offering the best deal, Oakland needs to take it.
