Trade: Cooper and the 4th Round for 2019 First round pick

*This is the pipe dream (yet somewhat not a totally unbelievable) scenario for the Raiders.

Besides the Raiders, the Green Bay Packers are the only other team with multiple first round picks. So if the Raiders have any slight hope of getting the compensation they really want it will likely come from them.

Green Bay has done a terrible job surrounding Aaron Rodgers so this could be an opportunity for them to make a move in his favor. Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison (restricted) will both be free agents at the end of the season, so they need someone to go alongside Davante Adams. There’s reason to question if Cooper is a true #1, but putting him alongside Adams could make him very dangerous. Plus playing alongside Rodgers will automatically elevate you as a player, especially if you’re a wide receiver.

A first round pick is a high price, but when you have Rodgers at QB you need to be in win-now mode all the time. And with an extra pick to play with it is time for the Packers to stop sitting by and start getting more aggressive.

Jon Gruden would be ecstatic to have three first-round picks, and if this were offered, he wouldn’t hesitate to take it despite having to give up a 4th rounder.
