More defensive players

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Safety

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a guy who I would consider bringing back next season, if they can get him for a good price. The Raiders were able to sign him for only a little over $1 million this past offseason, and if they can get him for that number next Summer, it would make a lot of sense to bring his veteran play back for another go-around.

Opinion: Bring him back

Jonathan Hankins, Defensive Tackle

Jonathan Hankins was brought in after the summer, and has played a big role on the Raiders defense since coming over. With so much young talent at the position in PJ Hall and Maurice Hurst, and with Justin Ellis coming back next season, Hankins does not have a defined role with the organization moving forward. Still, he provides nice depth, and has played well in spurts in 2018.

Opinion: Bring him back

Clinton McDonald, Defensive Tackle

The Raiders brought in Clinton McDonald and Jonathan Hankins during the time they were look for depth after Justin Ellis was placed on injured reserve. While he has not had the kind of impact as Hankins, he has been called into action at times over the last couple of weeks, but has really fallen behind the other guys at the position group.

Opinion: Let him walk
