More defensive players

Shilique Calhoun, Defensive End

The Raiders may want to bring back Shilique Calhoun this offseason, as he showed during the summer that he has that ability to get after the quarterback. In addition, he is not going to come with a hefty price tag, and on a team that is likely to draft at the position in 2019, Calhoun could provide nice depth.

Opinion: Bring him back

Dexter McDonald, Cornerback

Dexter McDonald has spent the season on injured reserve, and likely does not have a place on this team moving forward, unless on the practice squad. There are people who feel he should get a fair shake to win a job this season, but the team is going to make wholesale changes with the roster, and McDonald could be on the outside looking in.

Opinion: Let him walk

Fadol Brown, Defensive End

Fadol Brown is a guy I would like to see the Raiders bring back next season, and he should get more run as the season progresses in 2018. The coaching staff is going to want to take a long look at him, and we have seen flashes of him being a good player, who could provide good depth next season.

Opinion: Bring him back

Tevin Mitchel, Cornerback

Tevin Mitchell is currently another defensive back on the injured reserve for the Oakland Raiders, and there is little chance the team brings him back for the 2019 season. He has bounced around a bit during his short NFL career, and will have to look for a new landing spot next summer, as the Raiders look to move in a new direction at the position.

Opinion: Let him walk

Jason Cabinda, Linebacker

The Raiders activated Jason Cabinda when the released Derrick Johnson, so we will see what the Penn State product has the rest of the season. He was a beast during his time with the Nitanny Lions, and if he can come in and produce in his first regular season action, the team could bring him back for the 2019 campaign.

Opinion: Bring him back
