Oakland Raiders: Early 2019 seven-round NFL Mock Draft

When the Raiders traded away Khalil Mack, they not only sent away their franchise player on defense, but one of the best edge rushers the NFL has to offer. No player is ever going to replace the kind of impact he had on a play-by-play basis, but if the Raiders do end up with a top-5 pick next April, there are two elite players they could bring in to help get the unit better.

Nick Bosa will likely be the first player taken next April, and if the Raiders continue to play this way, they could end up with the first overall pick. If not, they would have to settle on Clelin Ferrell, who is elite in his own right, and is a big reason why the Clemson Tigers have been one of the dominant teams in college football during his time at the school.

Arden Key was a great selection in the third round last April, and is someone who could end up being a double-digit sack guy at the NFL level. Adding a player like Ferrell, or Bosa, and teaming them with Maurice Hurst and PJ Hall on the inside, would give the Raiders a stellar, young defensive line for the next five seasons at least.
