36. player. 28. . Wide Receiver. Stanford. JJ Arcega-Whiteside

The Raiders wide receiver group will look a lot different next season, especially with Amari Cooper expecting big-time money with his next contract. If the Raiders were not willing to pay Khalil Mack, they certainly are not going to pay Cooper, who just happens to have the same agent as the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year.

Jordy Nelson has one more year on his contract, but Martavis Bryant is only under contract this season, and the rest of the group is pretty much expendable. They did spend a late pick on Marcell Ateman in 2018, and he has some good intangibles, and the expectation is he will get every opportunity to earn a roster spot next summer.

With their third round pick, the Raiders should look to add JJ Arcega-Whiteside, who has been an absolute beast during his time at Stanford. He is a guy who can really take the lid off a defense, and does not mind going over the middle. The speedy wideout can do so much to impact a game, and would be a great find in the third round.
