Wide receiver Amari Cooper used to be thought of as one of the cornerstone pieces for the Oakland Raiders along with Derek Carr and Khalil Mack. Now that Cooper has been traded to the Dallas Cowboys, only Carr remains, but for how much longer?

If you were to mistaken the Oakland Raiders for Wall Street, then I wouldn’t blame you. With all these trades and sales of players it makes it difficult to tell the difference. Luckily for Jon Gruden, this isn’t the stock market or he would be a very poor man by now.

Gruden’s assessment when it comes to value is beyond terrible, however the first round pick that they received from the Dallas Cowboys is his first real win in a trade.

The Raiders received their pick after trading Amari Cooper yesterday. It was trade that had been expected for about a week. Gruden had been adamant that the team wasn’t going to trade Amari, but we should all know by now that Gruden’s word means absolutely nothing.

Just like how he said the Raiders aren’t tanking. Well that became evident once they traded Khalil Mack. This trade of Amari Cooper just further proves how hard this team is trying to tank for the number one pick.

The Oakland Raiders are on a complete fire sale and Jon Gruden is the conductor. No one on this team is safe. The only question is which player is the next one to be traded? I’m sure they wouldn’t mind it at this point given the state of the team.
