With a rebuild in progress and a 1-5 record to show for it, where do the Oakland Raiders go from here with ten games left in the 2018 season?

This has been one of the more eventful bye weeks for the Oakland Raiders in recent memory. The team traded away receiver Amari Cooper, after head coach Jon Gruden assured everyone he wasn’t being shopped. This then lead to multiple reports and stories regarding a discomfort in the locker room. Woah… I think I just experienced deja vu. I could’ve sworn this was the same exact story being pushed last season. I mean, it does make sense. This is what happens when you’re a bad team.

The fabric starts to unravel, or in this case the lies of Jon Gruden. A lot of us really thought or hoped that when the Raiders hit their bye week they would be around .500 and still in contention for the playoffs. At least, that was the dream everyone was sold on. Now the dream is to rebuild… again. This time it’ll be to get handpicked players from Jon Gruden since he’s almost done shipping out all of Reggie McKenzie‘s players.

Now that the Oakland Raiders are in tank mode, what is there even to look forward to with this 1-5 team? Well actually, there are quite a few things (four to be precise) that we all need to be paying close attention to. It’s not like the play on the field is going to gain much interest.
