Bruce Irvin

After Khalil Mack was traded to the Chicago Bears, the expectation was that Bruce Irvin was going to step up and be the leader of this defense. He certainly played the part this summer, as he was very vocal during the preseason, but he has been almost invisible this season.

Moving to defensive end full-time was supposed to make Irvin a double-digit sack guy for the Raiders this season, but that is definitely not going to happen. The funny thing is, the team has a bunch of talent on the interior of their defensive line, which should free up Irvin, but he comes into the Week 8 matchup with only three sacks, and four quarterback hits.
