Taylor Rapp from Washington is a guy who has dominated the Pac-12 during his college career, and prior to 2018, was named as a preseason All-American. He has not disappointed, racking up three sacks, which is a career-high, an interception, and four tackles for a loss. He can come up and make plays at the line of scrimmage in blitz packages, and is one of the better ball hawks in college football.
Rapp is not a sure-thing by any means, but is someone who is starting to gain some traction, and has been listed in the first round of a couple of mock drafts. The Raiders may want to attack the safety position early in round one, but if Rapp can fall to them later, he is a guy who can instantly upgrade the position group.
