Oakland Raiders: 15 defensive players to target in the first round in 2019
By Brad Weiss
Montez Sweat began his college career at Michigan State, but it has been his work with the Mississippi State Bulldogs that has him in the conversation of being a first round pick next April. Sweat had 10.5 sacks last season, and already has nine in 2018, and has the versatility to play on both the inside, and outside at the next level.
Standing at 6-foot-6, Sweat already has 11.5 tackles for a loss, has a forced fumble, and has teamed with Jeffery Simmons to give the Bulldogs some scary figures up front. He has the kind of makeup you look for in an edge rusher, as he is downright nasty, and will do anything possible to get to the quarterback.
