Boston College has a stellar edge rushers in Zach Allen, who can do so much more than just rush the passer. Allen has been a stalwart on a Boston College defense that does not have much talent, so he is getting the best of their opponents each week, but is still able to impact a game in so many ways.
Allen not only can get sacks, like most elite edge rushers in college football, but he is also solid at protecting the edge, and making big tackles. He has a couple of interceptions in his career, can do a nice job dropping back in coverage, and already has three seasons where he has had double-digit tackles for a loss.
