Offensive line

Singling out one player on the offensive line might be an insult to the overall play of the unit, as it was really a group effort to right the wrongs of their previous football play in London. The Raiders offensive line played stellar on Sunday, not giving up a single sack and their contribution was noted as Carr had a game reminiscent of the 12-win season in 2016.

Perhaps the chatter and criticism helped fuel their improved play, or maybe it was the much-needed bye week that gave them much-needed time to get healthy.

Perhaps the real factor was the lackluster pass rush from the Colts, but whatever the case may be this offensive line will gladly oblige. They played solid and they’ll need to continue playing strong football to give this offense and team a chance to compete. If Sunday was any indication, Oakland’s chances lie solely with the offense.
