This team cannot finish
It has been the same old story with this Raiders team this season, as they take a lead into the second half, and cannot finish. Outside of the clunkers against the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Chargers, the Raiders have been in every game, but when it gets time to win, they just fade away.
On Sunday, the team had a 28-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but completely imploded, allowing 21 points in the final frame. There was nothing that Derek Carr and the offense could do, as the Colts went up and down the field on the Raiders, and capitalized off a huge fumble by running back Doug Martin.
Oakland needs to put four quarters together, because if they could have done that just half the time this season, they would be a lot better than their 1-6 record. This is something that cannot continue, because if the Raiders continue to fade late in games, they will be more likely to get the first overall pick in 2019 than win a couple games the rest of the way.
