Derek Carr passes Rich Gannon in Raiders career passing touchdowns
Derek Carr survived the trade deadline, as there were rumors that he could be on the move, especially with what the Raiders could have gotten back for him in terms of draft capital. However, he has to be a part of the team’s future moving forward, because good quarterbacks are hard to come by, and he has shown he can be one of the best.
As he continues his career in the Silver and Black, Carr is starting to inch his way to the top of nearly every career statistical category in team history. By the time he is done, if the Raiders stay with him, he will be the leader in passing yards, completions, and touchdown passes, just to name a few.
On Thursday, Carr could pass Raiders legend Rich Gannon in passing touchdowns, as he sits only one behind the man who won an MVP wearing the Silver and Black. Gannon finished his Raiders career with 114 touchdown passes, while Gannon enters Thursday with 113.
