Oakland Raiders play uninspired football, lose final Battle of the Bay

In all honesty, it was all San Francisco from the get-go on Thursday night, and given the low standards set between these two teams that says a lot about the performance from the Oakland Raiders. The 49ers, who got just their second win on the season, looked like the better team on offense, defense, and perhaps more importantly in the coaching game. Just like the overall performance of the game, San Francisco dominated from kickoff to the final whistle and thus dominated the highlights of Thursday night’s game.

San Francisco takes advantage of a busted Oakland defensive coverage for Nick Mullen’s first touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon, perhaps the easiest one he’d see all game.

Again the 49ers take advantage of the Raiders defense as Mullins throws for this second touchdown in his debut, this time connecting with Kendrick Bourne.

So much for “half-time adjustments” as San Francisco comes out the gate with a 71 yard catch and run by George Kittle to begin the third quarter.

After the huge play, Kittle is rewarded for his first touchdown catch of the night and Mullen’s third passing touchdown of the game.

If you needed any more indication that this Raiders team quit on Thursday night, then look no further than this 52 yard touchdown run from Raheem Mostert. No effort at all on the defensive side of the ball.
