It’s only going to get worse

The fans of Raider nation who still have a positive outlook on the rest of the season should be applauded, the first half of the season has been an absolute nightmare for the Raiders. Hope is great, but at some point reality will come and stare at you right in the face. It should be repeated if necessary: the Raiders were blown out on national television at the hands of a 2-7 football team.

If Oakland was demolished by a roster like the 49ers, with a third-string quarterback under center in his first debut, was it to be expected when they face teams that are fighting for a playoff spot? Have fans forgotten that the Raiders still have not one but two matchups against the offensive juggernaut that is the Kansas City Chiefs?

It’s tough to see, but the reality is that things will get worse from here on out for the Raiders. A second win is looking more and more bleak as the weeks roll on, and the losses keep getting worse. Hold on tight Raiders fans, we still have another half of the season to watch unfold.
