One of the major needs for this roster moving forward will be adding strong players to the linebacker unit, which the Raiders should try to accomplish via the NFL Draft. When it comes to linebackers entering the 2019 NFL Draft, LSU’s Devin White is one of the best of the bunch, and should hear his name called early in round one next April.

White is a guy you can put in the middle of your defense and let him lead the way, and the Raiders just do not have that player right now. They went out and tried to bring in guys to lead this group via free agency this past offseason, but none of the deals ended up working out, and it will be time for another rebuild in 2019.

If the Raiders are ever going to  turn the corner, they need to get a lot better on the defensive side of the ball, and White instantly makes this linebacker group better. To have two top-10 picks in one draft is some serious draft capital, so Gruden and company better not swing and miss with these top two picks.
