Over the past two seasons, the Raiders receiving corps have been led by their tight end, as Jared Cook has been the team’s leader in receiving yards. While Cook has been a blessing for the Raiders in many ways, he is starting to get up there in age, and the team may want to use one of their ten draft picks on the tight end position.

Kaden Smith from Stanford is a good-looking tight end, and not only is he good at catching the ball, but is strong enough to make plays blocking downfield. The Raiders have three solid tight ends in Cook, Lee Smith, and Derek Carrier, but Cook is 32, and a free agent this summer, so that is something to keep an eye on.

This Raiders offense is going to look a lot different next season, and it is a good thing, as they have been wildly inconsistent this season. Carr likes to throw to his tight ends, and in Smith, he would have a young guy who could end up being a real threat in this offense moving forward.
