During their bye week, the Raiders traded away Amari Cooper, who had already been to two Pro Bowls, and is only 24-years old. Currently, they have guys like Jordy Nelson, Seth Roberts, and Martavis Bryant atop their depth chart at the wide receiver position, so they need to bring in another body via the 2019 NFL Draft.
While seventh-rounder Marcell Ateman has shown he has some intangibles to be an effective player in the league, the Raiders need that No. 1 wideout they can rely on. If they do decide to draft a wideout in 2019, a guy like David Sills from West Virginia could still be available in the third round.
Sills is not a burner by any means, but he is the kind of player who can make any catch, whether it is a deep ball, or in traffic. Derek Carr needs to start taking more shots downfield, and Sills has proven during his time with the Mountaineers that he has big play ability.
