Washington. Myles Gaskin. 97. player. 28. . Running Back

The running back position in Oakland will be an interesting one to keep an eye on next offseason, as Marshawn Lynch’s contract will be up after the 2018 season. Gruden has already said he would like to have Lynch back, and he did show that he has the strength, and speed to get the job done before an injury landed him on the injured reserve.

Chris Warren was the Raiders best running back during the preseason, but is out for the year after being placed on injured reserve before the season started. The hope is he can be a feature back at the next level, as he has the ability to make plays happen in the run game, and out of the backfield in the passing game.

Still, the Raiders need more talent on this unit, and Myles Gaskin from Washington has been one of the best rushers in the Pac-12 during his time with the Huskies. He is a difference maker from the running back position, and if Lynch does not return, having a tandem of Gaskin and Warren would give the Raiders a nice, young change at the position moving forward.
