PJ Hall
PJ Hall was a surprising second round pick of the Raiders back in April, but he has shown through his first couple of NFL games, that he has the potential to be a very good player. He missed a couple of games early on in the season due to injury, but is really hitting his stride, and is a very athletic defensive tackle.
The Raiders run defense has really struggled this season, but Hall had his best game of the season during the blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In fact, he has at least a 65.0 rating in three of his last four games according to Pro Football Focus, showing that he can be effective against the run.
Hall and fellow rookie Maurice Hurst are the future for the Raiders at the defensive tackle position, and the group should improve with Justin Ellis returning in a few weeks. The Raiders defense may look terrible right now, but the future is bright, and Hall is a big part of it.
