The Oakland Raiders have been getting contributions from their 2018 rookie class, and we dive into each player and grade them so far in year one.

The Oakland Raiders brought in some solid talent via the 2018 NFL Draft, including a couple of players who are going to be cornerstones of this team moving forward. While not all players have had a major impact, this is the first draft class under Jon Gruden, and you have to be happy with what the team is getting at some major positions.

In this draft class, the team has found their starting left tackle, as well as some defensive linemen who are going to be very good at the NFL level. Guys like Arden Key and Maurice Hurst have proven to be major contributors, even in year one, and PJ Hall continues to get better each week, after missing time due to injury.

If the Raiders are going to take the next step forward, especially over the next few seasons, these players will have to perform at a high level. The organization has pretty much gotten rid of most of the players they have drafted before Jon Gruden got here, so these next two draft classes, in 2019 and 2020, will be the foundation of the Raiders as they enter Las Vegas.

Here are our midseason grades for the 2018 Raiders rookie class.
