Offensive inconsistency

The Raiders have now gone without a touchdown for two straight games as they’ve been outscored 75-9 in their last nine quarters of football (the last touchdown scored was against the Colts in the third quarter on Oct. 28). With the defense consistently garnering criticism it has now been the offense that’s been incredibly underwhelming.

It’s become a normal trend now for these 2018 Raiders, when the defense plays well its the offense that sputters and vice-versa. Sunday was no different, and once again it was the offense’s turn to step up only to fail to meet the challenge.

It would be one thing if this offense was among the younger rosters in the league, but that’s simply not the case. Carr is not a rookie anymore and he has veteran players at his offensive disposal. The losses will likely continue to pile up but mustering just nine points through two games of football? Disappointing.
