Rodney Hudson

The Oakland Raiders offensive line has really struggled this season, especially with two rookies starting at the tackle positions. Quarterback Derek Carr seems to be under duress every time he drops back to pass, and it has really had a negative impact on what the Raiders are trying to do offensively.

Through all the downs this season, one constant has continuously showed up, and that is center Rodney Hudson. One of the best free agent pickups of Reggie McKenzie‘s tenure, Hudson is the best center in the league, and while the rest of the unit has struggled, he has excelled once again.

The Raiders have to pay this man when his contract is up after the 2019 season, because he is as good as it gets at the center position in the NFL. He is the highest-rated offensive player on the Raiders this season according to Pro Football Focus, and seems to only be getting better with age.
