Derek Carr

Derek Carr has been scrutinized all season long, as many though he would be traded during the trade deadline this past month. However, the organization appears to be committed to him being the team’s starting quarterback for the foreseeable future, and Raiders fans should be thankful for that.

When you look around the NFL, you can see that there is a serious lack of talent at the quarterback position, and the Raiders have a guy who played at an MVP level only two seasons ago. He has been battered this season, playing behind an offensive line that has really digressed, but has not complained once, and has spoken on how much he wants to win for Raiders fans.

For all the ups and downs this season, Carr is still rated just below Tom Brady this season, and is completing passes as an incredible clip. He is going to be the most prolific quarterback in franchise history before all is said and done, and hopefully he can bring home another ring for the Raider Nation.
