Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals: 3 things we learned
The Oakland Raiders went into the desert and pulled out a victory on Sunday, as a last second field goal proved to be the difference against the Cardinals.
The Oakland Raiders finally snapped their six-game losing streak with a 23-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals. These two teams were in serious need of a victory, and the Raiders were able to pull it out late with a 35-yard field goal by rookie Daniel Carlson as time expired.
It definitely wasn’t pretty, but Jon Gruden and company will take it any way they can get it. Especially since the schedule moving forward is about as brutal as can be.
The Raiders will take on Kansas City twice, as well as Baltimore and Pittsburgh in the coming weeks, so another victory could be hard to come by. With the win, the Raiders did lose their grip on the top overall pick in next April’s NFL Draft, as they currently sit at No. 3.
So for the first time in a while, here a few things we learned from this Raiders victory.
