The defense was the best offense

The Raiders defense was not particularly good, but they made up for it in the first half by forcing two interceptions of Cardinals rookie QB Josh Rosen.

One from young corner Gareon Conley and another from safety Karl Joseph. Two players, who looked to be on their way out before the trade deadline, stepped up and made big plays to help their team win.

Both picks led to the two touchdowns the Raiders scored which is enormous considering they hadn’t scored a touchdown since week 8 versus the Indianapolis Colts. And in this game, they were only able to score three field goals when not being aided by turnovers.

So Conley and Joseph were truly game changers today.
