Raiders keep it close
The Raiders have laid a few eggs this season, and there have been games where they just did not show up. However, outside of a couple of efforts, they have been close in most of the games they have played this season, and Sunday should be no different.
The Silver and Black is going up against a rookie quarterback on Sunday, and both of their wins this season have come against rookies in 2018, against Baker Mayfield and the Browns, and Josh Rosen of the Cardinals. Lamar Jackson was the last quarterback drafted in the first round back in April, and while he has a different skill set than the other two, he also is not experienced.
Oakland played their hearts out last weekend against the Cardinals, and the whole sideline went nuts when Daniel Carlson kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired. That showed me that the team is definitely not tanking this season, and they should come to play again on Sunday.
