Cornerback. Nebraska. Lamar Jackson. 211. player. 28.

The Raiders would be wise to utilize more than one pick on the cornerback position next April, especially if they have ten selections like they do right now. While the position should be addressed early, they could also find some help late, like Nebraska’s Lamar Jackson.

Jackson has had a rough 2018 campaign, and was actually benched by head coach Scott Frost back in September. However, he has worked his way back into the starting lineup, and there is no denying that he has the ability to be a solid cover corner at the next level.

The cornerback position is one where the Raiders need to add more than just a player or two next season, and Jackson would be a nice get in round seven. Rookie Nick Nelson will figure to be the plans for the future, as will Gareon Conley, but the rest of the position group is up in the air heading into next season.
