Linebacker. Alabama. Mack Wilson. 27. player. 28.

The Raiders need help at the linebacker position, and that includes guys to play on the inside, as well as out. While the jury is still out on rookie Jason Cabinda, and second-year pro Marquel Lee, adding a quality middle linebacker with one of their three first round picks could be a way the Raiders choose to go in April.

With one of their three first round picks in April, the Raiders may choose to bring in talent at the linebacker spot, and Mack Wilson is a guy that could be available late in round one. The Raiders final selection will likely be the one they got from the Chicago Bears for Khalil Mack, as the former Defensive Player of the Year has turned the Bears in to a Super Bowl contender in the NFC in year one.

Wilson has been a dominant player during his time at Alabama, and is the kind of leader in the middle of the defense that can make everyone around him better. With Whitehead on the outside, and Wilson in the middle, the Raiders would have a nice start to their linebacker group, but they still need to go out and add to the overall unit in free agency, and possibly later in the draft.
