28. . Tight End. Michigan State. Matt Sokol. 188. player

The Raiders have a lot of holes on the offensive side of the ball, especially in the passing game, where their wide receiver group is lacking in talent. Guys like Jordy Nelson and Amari Cooper were expected to lead this team this season, but one is currently on the Dallas Cowboys, and the other looks downright old.

At the tight end spot, Jared Cook is playing like a Pro Bowler, and made an incredibly athletic catch during the team’s loss on Sunday for a touchdown. Lee Smith caught two of his targets, and Derek Carrier had the second highest run grade according to Pro Football Focus.

Still, this team could afford to go out and use a draft pick on the tight end position, especially if they decide to not bring back Cook, who is a free agent. Matt Sokol from Michigan State is a guy who can make plays in the passing game, and is a great blocker, so getting a player of his skill set in the sixth round would be a solid selection.
