Oakland Raiders: 11 non-rookies who need to be a part of the rebuild
By Brad Weiss
Gabe Jackson
Gabe Jackson is one of the better offensive guards in football, and he and Kelechi Osemele form arguably the best guard tandem in the conference. While he has never been a Pro Bowler before, he is getting better with each season, and should be a guy the Raiders keep around moving forward.
Jackson signed a five-year extension with the team in 2017, and is locked up until the 2023 NFL season. That is good news for the Raiders, because he is a player who is just coming into the prime of his career, and should be a mainstay on this offensive line moving forward.
If the Raiders can keep the interior of their offensive line in tact, the young offensive tackles will eventually become a strength as well. They need to do a better job in keeping Carr upright, so there is no reason to break up that trio any time soon.
