Gareon Conley

Over the last couple of weeks, the Raiders have gotten incredible production from Gareon Conley, who they took in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. For a while there, it looked like the Raiders were going up on Conley, but he has shown that he just needed some reps, and is starting to look like a shutdown corner.

Conley has the pure talent to be an elite player at the NFL level, and through Week 12, he has the sixth-lowest passer rating allowed at 66.1. That is some incredible production, and if the Raiders can add a quality player on the other side, the cornerback position may actually become a strength for the Silver and Black.

The Raiders have to be better in the secondary moving forward, and you can expect them to spend at least one of their three first round picks on the position group in 2019. Conley is a keeper, and someone who could be the cornerstone of this secondary for years to come.
